HAVANA, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- A Cuban expert said China has demonstrated continued support to the Group of 77 (G77), and the Summit of the G77 and China is an important element for strengthening the construction of a multipolar world that leads to peace and development.

The two-day Summit of the G77 and China wrapped up in Havana on Saturday.

Delegations from more than 100 countries were in attendance, including over 30 heads of state and government.

Although not a formal member of the G77, China has been a supporter of the Group's positions and has maintained close relations with the Group.
