TEHRAN (Tasnim) Ali Habibinejad of Iran secured his place in the 2025 World Boxing Championships quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Habibinejad will face Cuban opponent Erislandy Alvarez on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.
The 2025 World Boxing Championships are held from 4 to 14 September at the Liverpool Arena in Liverpool, England.
Hosted by World Boxing, it is the first edition of the World Boxing Championships and features both men's and women's events.
Athletes from five continents compete across 20 events.
