At least one U.S. citizen killed in Cuba's speedboat shooting: report

WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- At least one U.S. citizen was killed and another injured following Wednesday's "highly unusual" shooting at a U.S.-registered speedboat by Cuba's coast guard, multiple U.S. media outlets reported Thursday, citing U.S. officials.

The injured is now receiving care in Cuba. The speedboat's owner reported that the 24-foot vessel had been stolen by an employee in Florida, U.S. officials told Axios. Four people were killed and six injured in the incident.
